FixMyGPS is operated by ICONICFJ US LLC (“FixMyGPS”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers our website (fixmygps.com), the partner portal (partners.fixmygps.com), our admin tools and the FixMyGPS mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the “Services”).
Who this applies to
- Customers who request GPS, ELD, dashcam or telematics installation or repair.
- Partner Companies and Technicians who register to perform installation work through our platform.
- Visitors to our website.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, company, email address, phone number, location or service area, and the message you send through our contact form.
- Partner onboarding: company legal name, EIN/tax details (including W-9), business license, certificates of insurance, technician certifications, identity verification information for the company and its beneficial owners, and bank details for payouts.
- Job evidence: photos, and device serial/IMEI/VIN scans captured in the app while completing a job.
- Account details: email or phone number used to sign in, and your role (technician, partner owner, or staff).
Information collected automatically
- Precise location (mobile app, Technicians only): collected only during an active job, from the moment you tap “on my way” until you submit or close the job, and only after you give explicit in-app consent. We do not collect background location outside that window and we do not request “Always” location access.
- Camera: used inside the app to capture job evidence and scan barcodes. We do not access your photo library or files.
- Device and usage data: device model, OS version, app version, push notification token, IP address, and diagnostic and security logs.
- Website data: basic server logs. We do not run advertising trackers on our website.
How we use information
- To respond to requests, schedule and dispatch installation work, and assign the right Technician.
- To verify Partner Companies and Technicians, review completed work, and pay Partner Companies (including tax reporting).
- To confirm that work was performed (for example, comparing evidence capture location with the job trail).
- To send service messages and push notifications about offers, jobs and payouts.
- To secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, keep an audit log, and meet legal obligations.
- To maintain and improve the Services.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
- Customers and Partners: a Technician sees the job details needed to do the work; a customer sees the assigned Technician’s name and arrival status.
- Service providers acting on our behalf: authentication (Google Firebase Authentication), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), maps and geocoding (Google Maps Platform), cloud hosting and file storage, email delivery, and messaging automation used to route contact-form submissions (such as WhatsApp).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and prevent fraud.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Retention
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Job GPS location pings | 90 days after the job, then purged |
| Job evidence (photos, scans, forms) | 3 years (warranty, dispute and compliance window) |
| Partner tax, insurance and verification documents | Duration of the partnership plus the period required by law |
| Audit log (who did what, and when) | Kept to protect the integrity of dispatch, review and payout records |
| Contact-form messages | Kept only as long as needed to handle your request |
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion: you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information. To delete your account and data, see Delete your account.
- Location: you can decline or withdraw location permission in your device settings. Without it you cannot complete jobs that require live tracking.

Send requests to [email protected]; we may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, private storage with short-lived access links, role-based access control with per-company data separation, and device attestation. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

The Services are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has given us personal information and we will delete it.
